Stash Report April 8, 2012

This week’s report covers two weeks since I was having computer troubles last week.
Week before last I purchased the background fabric for the alternative blocks to the Blue & Brown Sylvia’s Bridal Sampler Swap blocks and fabric to finish up Candy Sunflower Seeds. This week I purchased the FQs pictured above. I also won a Impressions of Kyoto Charm Pack.
As for fabric used it was all backing. Week before last I quilted my Red, White & Blue Mystery Quilt Tablerunner (I’ll show it on the Design Wall on 4/23). This past week it was backing for Ocean Waves. Yes, it is quilted and even trimmed. I used a wide backing and counted it in as 2 1/2 yards, so I’m counting it out as 2 1/2 yards.
Fabric Added 2 Weeks ago: 7 yards
Fabric Added Last Week: 1.65 yards
Fabric Added to Date: 21.733
Fabric Used 2 Weeks ago: 1.235 yards
Fabric Used Last Week: 2.5
Fabric Used to Date: 27.065 yards
Net Used for 5.332 yards
It’s a good thing Judy is doing the weekly stash reports — I almost bought more FQs, but decided to work from my stash for the next couple of blocks I need to make. See if it’s helping anyone else by following the links over at Patchwork Times.

I love the FQ’s pictured and they would go right into my Lady of the lake..
I agree that Judy’s weekly report helps. I am always surprised when I see that I have purchased almost 50 yards of fabric! My stash is considerable so adding is unnecessary…but oh so fun! If I didn’t own up to my additions weekly there might be more.
You are going in the right direction — nice purchases too.
